Robert Blair:

• a was born in a small college town in western Pennsylvania, lived for a short period of time in New Jersey, then moved to southern California, attended elementary schools in California and Pennsylvania, middle, junior and high schools in New York, and graduated high school in California. 
•  
  was initially employed as a Directory Assistance Operator, and later held positions and earned promotions in sales, marketing, project and product management, leading to Director and Executive Director positions with nation-wide responsibilities, all within the same telephone company.   
• began his corporate career immediately following high school, attended classes part time at El Camino College and Los Angeles City College in California, but gained the majority of his business education attending "The School of Hard Knocks." 
• tutored deaf college students in their English studies and became Certified as an Interpreter of American Sign Language, but no longer practices this vocation.
• volunteered as the Membership Director, was elected to serve on the Board of Directors and then elected by the board as National President, Vice President and then Treasurer of a telephone company employee-initiated diversity and community support organization.
• following over 28 years of corporate employment in the telecommunications industry, is currently Executive Director of a small travel, tourism and real estate investment company, while also pursuing various independent projects.  
• has served as an Inspector for each of the elections held in Oakland by the Alameda County Registrar of Voters since 2008.
• is a Notary Public commissioned by the California Secretary of State.
• is an ordained minister performing non-denominational wedding ceremonies for those ready to publicly affirm their life-long commitment to each other, their family and community. 
• is passionate about supporting and improving those within his influence who demonstrate their own desire to do so.
• cares about the environment and those with whom he comes in contact, so he always tries to leave them better off than they were prior to his arrival.
